We’ll be providing Co-op customers with clear, fair insurance from just £5 a month.

It’s been a pleasure working with the Co-op team to launch this product. We’ve leveraged our proprietary technology to create a fully customised, Co-op-branded product that provides a great experience for customers.

Co-op insurance launches new renters product with Urban Jungle

Co-op insurance has today, May 8th, launched a new renters insurance product with insurance technology startup, Urban Jungle, to provide better value and protection for renters.

The product has been created specifically for home renters and allows customers to tailor the cover to suit their needs, offering protection from £10,000 up to £50,000.

Policies start from as a little as £5 a month, with Co-op member-owners able to access a further 5% discount and provides protection for valuables against common risks such as fire, weather damage or theft, as well as both accidental damage and tenants liability cover included as standard.

Alongside this, renters can also customise their policy with optional add-ons, including out of home cover for personal items and accidental damage caused by pets. 

Additionally, all policies are tailored to meet renters needs and designed to be simple, affordable, and flexible, with the option of monthly rolling plans at no extra cost, meaning customers only need to pay for the months they are renting, with no additional fees for amending or cancelling the policy.
