About the role
We’re looking for a driven, creative and hands-on Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team and help us achieve our ambitious growth plans.
You’ll report directly to our CMO, Laura Woodhead, who has led Marketing teams and campaigns across some of the world’s biggest and fastest growing brands, and get the opportunity to learn from the rest of our senior team who have had a key role in building and running some of the world’s biggest companies in consumer tech.
You’ll be working with our 3 strong marketing team, focusing wherever the company needs you most. We operate across a huge range of channels (PPC, Organic Social, Partnerships, CRM, Outdoor, TV, etc), and regularly flip between always-on strategies and campaigns as need arises.
Working closely alongside our Head of Marketing - who leads on everything performance - you’ll be owning our efforts to build our brand and drive understanding of Urban Jungle, as well as testing more ways to both grow and retain our customers. We’d expect you to be able to rapidly grow your responsibilities as you and the company learn and develop.
You’ll also have a key role in helping set the marketing strategy and where we should focus next for growth.
Here's what you'll get up to:
- Work closely with the CMO and Senior Team to set the plan and form the longer term strategy.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of marketing tests and campaigns, including identifying new opportunities or areas to optimise, executing, and running analysis.
- Utilise customer and competitive insights to create compelling and effective marketing communication and content, including writing copy.
- Work collaboratively with product and engineering teams (as well as the rest of the business), to make things happen.
- Develop and maintain relationships with third parties, including briefing and developing creative to get the best results.
You've read this far! Here's what we're looking for from you:
- At least 3 years professional experience in marketing roles.
- We don’t expect you to have worked in every channel, but we’re looking for someone who has strong skills and experience in at least a couple of marketing channels and areas and is eager to develop their marketing knowledge even further.
- A genuine enthusiasm for identifying growth opportunities using customer insights and/or data, and building marketing campaigns from scratch to take advantage of them.
- A passion for creative and creativity - both generating ideas or building on / working with the ideas of others.
- A do-er who likes getting their hands dirty solving problems and making things happen.
- Strong communication skills to manage internal stakeholders and external partners where necessary (e.g. freelancers, agencies, etc).
- Ultimately, you’re highly ambitious with the drive to push both the business and yourself to the next level.
